For the most part, winter weather will not harm your vehicle wrap, however cold temperatures, snow, and ice can cause damage to a vehicle wrap if not properly maintained. • Do not use an ice scraper or snow shovel to remove snow from vinyl on the body of the vehicle or on the windows. Instead, use a snow broom, soft cloth, or the window defrosters This will ensure that you do not damage and scratch your wrap.
• If your rear window is wrapped, disengage your rear wiper. Ice buildup on the wiper can cause damage to your wrap.
• Remove road salt from your vehicle as quickly as possible. Exposure to salt over a long period of time can be very corrosive to both vinyl and paint finishes and result in damage.
• Remove salt from the undercarriage, wheel wells, and equipment. Rust can develop if the salt is not removed and vinyl does not adhere to rust.
